The beginings of Jacob Marley publication

Books have changed civilizations. In the past, Charles Dickens’ David Copperfield caused a revision in child labor laws. Harriet Beecher Stowe’s Uncle Tom’s Cabin contributed to the end of slavery. Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the d’Urbervilles changed the way society looked at assaulted women. Today’s books often carry social messages but without the art of the old masters.

Our purpose in starting Jacob Marley Publications: “Impact books with a message” is to re-visit artfully written books with truths that can change lives for the better. We do not aim for societal changes, but insights that can improve an individual’s life. Our belief is that seeing principles enacted in others’ lives is the strongest way to convey the message.
